Conscious Connected Breathing

Your breath is your superpower – and Conscious Connected Breathing is where transformation begins.

CCB is a dynamic, circular breath, without pauses, and is generally practiced through the mouth. When you learn to breathe efficiently and intentionally, you unlock a powerful mind-body reset: releasing stored tension, calming stress responses, boosting energy, and building true nervous system resilience. This dynamic, circular breathwork practice helps you access clarity, emotional release, and deeper intuition, creating space for lasting change from the inside out.

The Mind Body Connection

Emotional imprints from our experiences since birth are stored in the body, and can show up as muscular tension, dysfunctional breathing, chronic pain, and persistent stress; this puts the body in a constant fight, flight, and for some, freeze response. This is a risk for overall health. The heart holds on deeply to sadness and grief, the hips store shame and guilt, the neck and shoulders carry burdens of stress and worry, and the stomach stores personal power, or lack of. This naturally affects how resilient the nervous system is, inhibits the immune system and disrupts the endocrine system. Hello cortisol.

The Role of Conscious Connected Breathing

CCB is a powerful technique which can be used for a variety of reasons:

  • Build a resilient nervous system which equates to better stress management, a calmer mind, and less physical tension
  • Boost energy, improve focus, clarity and work performance
  • Offers a gateway to accessing deep wisdom, intuition and creativity
  • Releasing repressed emotions stored deep in the subconscious

Due to the change in gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide), the body can experience various physiological changes that lead to altered states of consciousness and the ability to access the subconscious mind where we hold repressed emotions, buried memories, and deep-seated beliefs; this is the gateway to emotional release. The nervous system is truly awakened through this practice and shifts between sympathetic activation and parasympathetic which has huge benefits for emotional and nervous system resilience, and heart health, in part due to the positive effect on HRV (Heart Rate Variability) and vagal tone.

There are some contraindications with CCB, therefore at enquiry stage or at the point of booking there is a waiver where any conditions highlighted will require further discussion.
